Since 1985 DWP Housing Partnership has been providing good quality affordable accommodation to rent across Dorset.

The company was started in the 1980’s by Dave Wells, with just one rental property, a small house in Poole, a humble start to a portfolio which now sees the company owning over 3,000 units and are recognised as Dorset’s biggest private landlord.

Family is at the heart of what we do, so it is no surprise that following the retirement of Dave in 2013 the management of the business was handed over to his son Steve Wells, who now manages the portfolio and a team of over 100.

We take our social responsibilities seriously by making sure people of all incomes have somewhere pleasant to live or work, part of this commitment to the local community is to work closely with the Boscombe Regeneration Project.

Central Bournemouth Development

We are investing significantly in new builds and improving our existing stock.  One such example (shown below) is the multi-million pound redevelopment of three HMO’s (Houses in Multiple Occupation) in central Bournemouth which have been demolished and replaced with 64 modern apartments.
